May all of your dreams come true in 2025 — Happy New Year!

Living in Australia has turned me into a self-proclaimed nerd, and I’m owning it. I love what I do so much that it feels like I’m living my dream, although being in a different time zone, aka the future, has been challenging. Over the past few months, I’ve had countless opportunities to be with old friends, but instead, I’ve chosen my new world. It’s not you, it’s me—I’ve changed. My focus has shifted, and I’m unapologetically dialed in…

I just got back to work, and every fiber of my being is focused on scaling DFX in every department. From streamlining operations to driving growth and even raising capital—including private equity deals—I’m in full-on execution mode.

Big Changes Ahead!

On a personal note, Jesse and I are about to start a new chapter. I’m officially moving to Boston, and we’re gearing up to host regular events and start building our HQ—so get ready. It’s an exciting move that aligns perfectly with the rapid growth trajectory of DFX.

From Idea to Impact

Jesse officially launched DFX on LinkedIn on March 4th, 2024. By June, it was still just Jesse and a team of two. Then, in June, I pitched myself to join the DFX team. Fast forward to 2025: the DFX Family has grown to 35. One of the proudest moments has been giving our offshore team equity. At DFX, we firmly believe everyone should have a piece of the pie.

In 2024, Deal Flow Xchange (DFX) officially came to life. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far:

  • Debt Engagements: 717

  • Hosted Events: 52, with plans to expand our Pitch Events in 2025

  • Communities: 6 launched, with 12 more planned for Q1 2025
